Sound Meditation Session
Sound meditation is the use of sound as a tool to support deep relaxation. The purpose is to create a gentle experience that heals the body, clears the mind and keeps one in the present moment.
Our sound meditation sessions are scheduled once or twice a month with 5-10 participants per session.
Guidelines for a sound meditation session are:
- Be hydrated, drink some water 1 hour to the time of session so you aren’t thirsty, it might make you restless.
- Have a light snack an hour before the session.
- Wear comfortable, loose clothing or athletic attire.
- You might want to get pillows, blankets to promote comfort.
- Have a mat.
